Kathryn Martinez

Kathryn Martinez is from Taos Pueblo. She is a returning student at UNM-Taos. Before returning home, Kathryn worked for many years in the hospitality industry in Santa Fe, NM. With that came an abundance of experience that allowed her to work and meet with people from different backgrounds. Returning to school gave her the opportunity to revisit her love-hate relationship with math. “I have come to realize it is more love now than ever before,” Kathryn said. “There is more to my math journey I have yet to discover.”
